Technology Help
Our library staff are available to assist with technology questions at all three campus libraries. Whether you need a hand navigating Canvas, setting up your free copy of Microsoft Office 365, or printing in the library, we have you covered
Get help from your fellow peers by talking to a Student Technology Assistant (STA). STA's are current Waubonsee students who are trained to help with common tech issues and provide support for college and library technology. They understand the challenges of using new technology and can guide you through things like accessing your student email or navigating Canvas.
What we can help with:
Online College Technologies | Software Support | Library Technology | Basic Tech Skills |
---|---|---|---|
Canvas | Microsoft Office 365 | Printing | Navigating a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. |
Student Email | Google Drive | Copying | Saving and organizing files |
E-Textbooks | Lockdown Browser | Scanning | Connecting to campus Wi-Fi |
ServiceDesk | Zoom | Study Room Smart Boards | And more... |
Walk-ins and appointments are welcome! Appointments are available in-person or online via Zoom.
The library is unable to assist with all technology-related issues. For advanced assistance (i.e. account access issues), students are encouraged to contact the Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
