Sessions will be in Spanish and held at the Waubonsee Aurora Downtown Campus, 18 S. River St., Aurora in the Latinx Resource Center, Room 250.

Session 1 – Mental Health
January 28 | 5:30 - 7 p.m.

This session will focus on mental health awareness and wellness for families, emphasizing the importance of emotional well-being. Participants will learn about available resources and strategies to support themselves and their student.

Session 2 – What Is College?
February 25 | 5:30 - 7 p.m.

This session will provide an overview of the college system, including degrees, pathways, and expectations. It is designed to help families better understand how college works and how to support students through the process.

Session 3 – Advocacy & Social Justice
March 25 | 5:30 - 7 p.m.

This session will focus on advocacy and social justice issues impacting our community. Participants will explore ways to become informed, engaged, and empowered advocates for themselves and their families.
