Waubonsee makes the transfer process effortless

You're working hard to complete your first two years at Waubonsee, and we're committed to making it easy to transfer your credits.

A smart first step is to meet with our professionally trained staff at the Counseling, Advising and Transfer Center. We provide a variety of resources and personal services that help you sort out the details and put together a plan.

  • Transfer or articulation fact sheets
  • Catalogs, applications and scholarship info from many colleges
  • Access to information on more than 2,000 schools using the Internet
  • Events like College Night in October, trips to local schools and campus visits by college representatives
  • Advisors to help you plan your program of studies and make a smooth transition

Our advisors will help plan your transfer from the start, but you should also be aware of the overall process, along with some common transfer tools and terms.

Transferring Credit Into Waubonsee

Just as you can take credits with you when you leave Waubonsee, you can also bring them with you when you arrive.

Perhaps you took dual credit classes in high school or some general studies courses at another college.

Talk to our advisors to see if those credits can transfer into your academic program at Waubonsee. You might have a head start on your associate degree!
