Waubonsee Veterans Terms and Conditions of Certification

Disclosure: The following list of terms and conditions applies to ALL Waubonsee Community College students who are using federal or state veteran education benefits. If you have questions regarding anything within this list please contact a member of the WCC Veterans Services Team located within the Sugar Grove Financial Aid Office.
The VA offers many programs that can assist you in defraying college cost while attending Waubonsee. Although you might have your mind set on one particular program you might be eligible for more than one. You are the only one who select which benefit meets your needs, but we are here to assist you with general questions about the program benefits and process.
For specific eligibility information we encourage you to reach out to VA at 1-888-442-4551 or by using their GI Bill ® Comparison Tool to learn how the benefit program you choose can work for you!
Each program listed below can be applied for by going to www.vets.gov and submitting the 22-1990 Application for VA Education Benefits. Note: The normal VA processing time for a web submitted application is 4-6 weeks, and this time will extend during certain parts of the year.
