Application Process by Types of Aid

Applying for grants, loans and work-study jobs requires the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid allows eligible undocumented students and transgender students who are disqualified from federal financial aid to apply for all forms of state financial aid.

Scholarships have a different application process.

At Waubonsee, we offer four types of financial aid.
