The process depends on the kind of student you want to be and kind of courses you want to take. There is no competitive application process, except for a few select programs.  And you’ll receive personal attention and guidance to help you along the way.

Credit:

New Student
Earn college credit to transfer to a four-year university or prepare for a career

Transfer-In
Transfer in academic credits previously earned at another college or school

Returning
If you have previously taken a credit course at Waubonsee and have your X-number and password, you can register for classes right away. Note that if you’ve taken only noncredit and/or high school courses previously and are ready to move into credit courses, you should follow the process for new credit students.

International (I-20)
Enrollment for citizens of a country other than the United States

Professional Development

Enroll in Personal Enrichment, Trips and Tours, or Professional Development courses

Adult Education
This includes Adult Basic Education/GED, English as a Second Language (ESL) and other courses that help area residents improve their basic skills in English, reading and math and/or prepare for the GED test at no cost.

Xcelerate Youth Programs
Our Xcelerate summer camps have morning and afternoon sessions with fun, interactive activities for kids.

Other:

High School
Earn college credit while still in high school or earn high school credit in our summer SOAR program.
