• Academic and Career Advisors are here to support you in planning out your time at Waubonsee. These meetings can be used to:
  • Create and update your academic plan
  • Select and register for courses
  • Discuss current semester progress
  • Review relevant resources

Academic and Career Advisors can support you in navigating holds on your account including:

• Academic probation holds (SOAP)
• First semester review hold (S1)
• For all other holds, please view the Registration Holds Chart

Academic and Career Advisors can work with you to create your individualized transfer plan using our transfer resources. Our goal is to ensure you meet your Waubonsee graduation requirements.

• ​​​​​​Choosing a major is a big decision, and it is important you have the necessary information to make the best decision. Academic and career advisors can guide you through career exploration and preparation using resources to help you choose a career direction that is right for you.
  • Career resources include Career Coach and COL 131: Career Exploration class
  • Connecting you with career counseling for more in depth assessments

If you’re using financial aid, there may be times when the Financial Aid Office requires that you meet with an Academic and Career Advisor to complete additional forms for eligibility.
