Waubonsee Community College has appointed Michelle Evans, of Aurora, to the position of Assistant Dean for Health Professions and Public Service.

Waubonsee Community College's Workforce Development Department will host the Fox Valley Internet Marketing Summit on Feb. 21, offering business leaders of all size the chance to gain insight on crafting a digital marketing strategy to use tools like social media and search engines to boost their business.

The path for Waubonsee students looking to transfer to Governors State University was made a little smoother recently as Waubonsee became the 11th community college to become part of GSU’s Dual Degree Program.

In her presentation on March 13, Waubonsee Associate Professor of Mathematics Amy Del Medico will open people's eyes to the beauty of math in nature all around us, discussing the unique properties of fractals in objects we encounter everyday, as well as how fractals are used to make some of today's most mind-blowing special effects.

Waubonsee Community College will once again offer free income tax return preparation help to low- and moderate-income individuals and families on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Jan. 29 - April 12.
