To help give parents of high school students the information they need to help their child succeed, Waubonsee is hosting “Noche Para Padres” on Tuesday, March 18 at the downtown Aurora Campus. The session will be presented in Spanish by bilingual staff members. 

More than 30 experts in workplace safety will be on hand at Waubonsee Community College's Safety Day Event, designed to help employers learn about OSHA requirements and make their workplaces safer for all.

Thanks to a bridge program at Waubonsee, students can prepare for their GED test and/or improve their basic academic skills while also training for a career in health care or manufacturing.

The Dean’s List celebrates excellence in full-time students who attain a minimum 3.5 grade point average. 

Teams from 13 local high schools competed in several subject area categories for top honors in the 2014 Illinois Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering Academic Competition at Waubonsee.

The President’s List honors those full-time students who earn a 4.0 semester grade point average.

Waubonsee Community College Dean for Students Dr. Scott Peska has been elected to the board of the Elburn Lions Club.

Waubonsee Community College has appointed Dr. William Marzano, of Aurora, to the position of Assistant Vice President of Transfer and Developmental Education.

Ceramic works by Waubonsee Associate Professor of Art/Ceramics Doug Jeppesen have been featured in a new book highlighting the work of 100 artists using wood to fire their ceramic creations.
