Mission: The Dean for Students advocates for students' rights, promotes student engagement and a sense of community, and strives to maintain the integrity of the campus community and student body at Waubonsee Community College.

  • Providing leadership to four functional areas within the Division of Student Development (e.g. Athletics, Learning Assessment & Testing Services, Student Conduct, and Student Life).
  • Serving as a referral agent, resource and general advocate to ensure students' rights are upheld and to assist students in resolving issues or concerns pertinent to their success at Waubonsee Community College.
  • Collaborating with faculty, staff, students and the college community to address and redress matters related to student misconduct at Waubonsee Community College.
  • Educating the college community about the rights and responsibilities of students.
