Waubonsee Community College will host a Veterans Resource Fair at its Aurora Downtown Campus, 18 S. River St., on Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and is being held by Waubonsee Veteran Services in conjunction with the Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission.

LGBTQ+ is a month-long recognition observed from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31 that raises awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history and related civil rights movements. This programming is free and open to the public.
