Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

• Testers must follow Testing Center Policies
• Testers must have a Waubonsee X-Number
• Testers must have an ATI Account prior to testing
• Testers must present valid photo identification such as a State Issued ID or Passport
• TEAS exams must be taken in person at a Waubonsee campus.
• Scores from remote exams dated after September 1^st, 2023 or other institutions will not be accepted.

• Exam fee is $93.00 per attempt payable upon arrival

*Due to high volume, applications for Fall 2025 will close on May 16, 2025. After this date, we recommend you apply for Spring 2026 beginning September 1, 2025.

• Complete all prerequisite courses for application to the nursing program
• Utilize ATI TEAS prep materials
• Enroll in TEAS prep & resources
• Prepare with free resources from the Waubonsee Library
• Contact Access Center for accommodations and services
• Connect with the tutoring center for individual subject support

• TEAS exams are by appointment only. View our current hours in the directory.
• Schedule an appointment at the Sugar Grove or Downtown Aurora campuses.
• Bring your payment, identification and ATI log in information on your test day.
• A locker will be provided to store all personal items. No food or beverage is allowed in the testing lab.

• You will receive your results immediately and your score report will be available to the Nursing department within 24 hours of exam completion.
• Waubonsee Nursing Program requires applicants to achieve a score of 58% in all four main content areas and also a composite score of 58% or higher.
• Retake Policy: There are 3 attempts per calendar year. Testers must wait 4 weeks between each retake attempt. A $93.00 Retake Fee is required for each attempt.
