TEAS Testing

• Complete all prerequisite courses for application to the nursing program
• Visit ATI TEAS Prep for vetted practice tests, textbooks and materials.
• Enroll in the TEAS Prep & Resources on Canvas.
• Prepare with free resources from the Waubonsee Library.
• Connect with the Tutoring Center for individual subject support.
• Contact the Access Center to request testing accommodations and other services.
• Testers must have a Waubonsee X-Number and an ATI Account set up by the day of their appointment. Be sure to select Waubonsee CC as the school you are enrolled in.
• Waubonsee’s Nursing Program requires applicants to achieve a score of 58% in all four main content areas as well as a composite score of 58% or higher.

• TEAS exams must be taken in person at a Waubonsee campus. Scores from exams taken at other institutions or remotely will not be accepted.
• TEAS exams are by appointment only. Schedule an appointment at the Sugar Grove or Downtown Aurora campuses.
• Payments of the $93 exam fee are due to Waubonsee the day of the exam.
• TEAS testers are required to present one form of valid photo identification such as a State Issued ID or Passport.
• A locker will be provided to store all personal items. No food or beverage is allowed in the testing lab.

• Please allow 4 hours to complete the TEAS exam.

Testers are given 3 attempts to meet the TEAS scores per calendar year (January-December). There is a 4-week waiting period between each retake attempt. A $93.00 retake fee is required for each attempt.

• TEAS exam scores are valid for 2 years.
• TEAS exam results are available immediately and will be entered into your student record within 24 hours of exam completion.
• You may also access your results via ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) by logging in and visiting the “My Results” page found in your personal ATI online student account.
