Waubonsee Community College’s men’s basketball team will have a tough challenge ahead of them at the NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship Tournament. The Chiefs (25-8) received the ninth seed and will play eighth seeded Pima (AZ) Community College (21-11), the highest scoring Division II junior college team in the nation, in the tournament’s opening game on Tuesday, March 21, beginning at 9 a.m.

Zaida Rodriguez is living proof that with a little patience and a committed mindset, continuous learning and connection-building pay off. Because of Rodriguez’s many health care and cultural contributions to the City of Aurora through her community service, Waubonsee Community College is proud to honor her as the Student Success: Featured Alumnus for the month of March.
