Nurturing and empowering students

The Dean for Students advocates for students' rights, promotes student engagement and a sense of community, and strives to maintain the integrity of the campus community and student body at Waubonsee Community College.

  • Serves as a resource, general advocate and referral agent to ensure students' rights are upheld and to assist students in resolving issues or concerns pertinent to their success at Waubonsee Community College
  • Collaborates with faculty, staff, students and the college community to address and redress matters related to student misconduct at Waubonsee Community College
  • Educates the college community about the rights and responsibilities of students
  • Provides leadership to four functional areas within the Division of Student Development: Athletics, Learning Assessment & Testing Services, Student Life and Student Conduct
