Bio:
Holly Holmes received her MFA from the School of Art Institute of Chicago in May 2011. She is a painter, sculptor, educator and curator living in Oak Park, IL. Most recently she has shown her work at Firecat Projects, Chicago, IL; Aqua Art Miami, Miami, Fl; Sidecar, Hammond, In; The Chicago Urban Arts Society, Chicago, IL; the Oak Park Public Library, Oak Park, IL; Portage Gallery, Chicago, IL; and at Columbia College Chicago, Chicago, IL. Holmes is faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has curated multiple exhibitions and is the co-founder and director of What – It – Is, a project space.
