Waubonsee Community College invites submissions for art exhibitions of all media. Proposals will be accepted for solo, two-person and curated exhibitions for the Arrowhead Room. Solo exhibits of installation or sculptural work for the Dickson Window Art Project Space will also be accepted.

Proposals are reviewed periodically by an Exhibition Committee, made up of Waubonsee Art faculty and staff. To be considered for an exhibition you must submit all of the requested materials on the submission checklist (see below). If your submission is accepted for exhibition, you will be contacted to exhibit your artwork.

If accepted for an exhibition at Waubonsee, you will be provided with photo documentation, and on campus marketing and communications support (website listing, email announcements, posters, takeaways). Also, your program will be archived in our paper and digital archives. If possible, Waubonsee will also capture video documentation.

Our staff works with artists to facilitate and support exhibitions. There is no funding for exhibitions; however, we do offer paid visiting artist lecture and/or workshop opportunities to our exhibiting artists. Lectures are free and open to the public. Workshops are for current Waubonsee students who pre-register.

The Arrowhead Room is 874 square feet of professional exhibition space, and the Dickson Window Art Project Space is 166 square feet of sculptural/installation space. All exhibitions are open to the public and free of charge.
