This course is the continuation of PLG 105 and provides an overview of the role of the paralegal in the civil litigation process. Trial Binder preparation is an essential paralegal skill and students will prepare a Trial Binder for the final project containing their drafted artifacts from PLG105 and PLG106.

A blend of face-to-face class meetings in a traditional classroom and asynchronously online. Required face-to-face class meetings are: Thursdays 6:30 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Scheduled on campus days: 01/29, 02/12, 02/26, 03/12, 04/02, 04/16, 04/30, 05/14 Students can register for both courses that are scheduled at the same day and time as they meet face-to-face on opposite weeks. This course uses Open Educational Resources (OER) instead of traditional textbooks, so there is no cost for course materials. Your instructor will provide direct access to all required materials through the course syllabus or on Canvas.
