Women’s History Month commemorates the achievements, contributions, and lasting impact of women throughout American history while encouraging ongoing study, reflection, and celebration of the diverse ways women have shaped society, culture, government, education, science, the arts, and social movements. The observance serves as an opportunity to recognize both well-known and often overlooked women whose leadership, innovation, resilience, and advocacy have advanced equity, expanded opportunities, and strengthened communities across generations.
