This course will introduce users to Power BI, its purpose, and its uses. It will focus on the fundamental technical aspects of obtaining the software, compiling data for use, building basic data models, and finally translating that into basic data visualizations through the use of pre-set visualizations and simple formula building. This course is intended for those new to or who have never used Power BI to create business intelligence reporting. Those interested in the course should have a solid understanding of creating and reading charts and graphs, basic algebraic equations, formatting, and experience in creating reports using Microsoft Excel. This is a 3-week/Traditional Classroom Instruction/9 Total Hours course. Software requirements: Windows 10 or later. The free version of Power BI Desktop.
