This course will build on students' practical and hands-on experience with Power BI to develop richer data visualization storytelling. Aspects of the course will cover an expanded review and use of graph and formula building, design theory, and best practices, along with practice applying these skills to real-world business and informational cases. This course is intended for those familiar with the fundamental usage of Power BI to create business intelligence reporting. Those interested in the course should have a fundamental skill set of installing and connecting a data source to Power BI, data visualization types, understanding basic data model constructs, and the ability to create such models in Power BI using available data sources, and use of the DAX programming language. This is a 3-week/Traditional Classroom Instruction/9 Total Hours course. Software requirements: Windows 10 or later. The free version of Power BI Desktop.
