This course covers the role of the Company Fire Officer within the community, including community needs assessment. It also provides basic training in the principles of fire investigation and inspection, in addition to ensuring firefighter health and safety. This course meets partial requirements for the Company Fire Officer certification through the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Prereq, C or better in FSC105, FSC115, FSC118 or Basic Operations Firefighter certification
