Guidelines for Kermes Vendors

Vendors must provide their own 6’ or 8’ table(s) and pop-up tents with four supportive 20# or more weights for the corners. Waubonsee will provide a 10’ x 10’ space outdoors in the parking lot at Hoyt Place. No power will be provided.

Waubonsee must approve the goods being sold. Applicants will need to describe exactly what is being sold in the application (and/or photo of your set-up or goods). Our institution is educational and family-friendly, we are not going to allow goods with offensive language or imagery, no alcohol or drug paraphernalia, sexually explicit themes, or related items allowed.

Waubonsee Community College is not responsible for the goods or services sold at the vendor fair at any point during or after the event. Vendors are responsible for their own sales and their booth while on campus property. Stolen merchandise or damaged goods because of inclement weather or theft is the responsibility of the vendor.

Waubonsee Community College will not be providing secure (private) internet for credit card sales. Vendors must bring their own mobile hotspot device for safe internet use.

Vendors must provide a copy of the certificate of insurance and an Illinois State tax-ID number for their business.

No on-site parking for vehicles.

Vendors are encouraged to bring battery-operated string lights to provide lighting for their tent. Amazon offers them here.
