This course develops effective communication skills for a variety of business and professional settings. Areas of emphasis include informal presentations, communicating in multi-cultural workplaces, verbal and nonverbal communication principles, interviewing, ethical influence and persuasion in customer-service settings, working in groups and teams, creating positive communication climates, and conflict resolution.
