Waubonsee Community College continues to partner with The Hartford to create an apprenticeship program that is a remarkable opportunity for Waubonsee students.

The artwork of three Waubonsee students has been selected for inclusion in the Skyway Juried Art Competition 2022, hosted by McHenry County College.

The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to keep the college’s tuition rate steady for the 2022–2023 academic year. The current in-district tuition rate of $132 per credit hour will remain in effect through next year, as will the current student fee of $8 per credit hour.

Waubonsee Community College recently selected Dr. Sara Gregory and Heather Engelhart as its Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Members for 2022.

I dispensed my duties with relative comfort after several years of both teaching and studying writing. Not only that, but I was the product of an interdisciplinary curriculum. I have frequently shared that what drew me to my now more than 40-year career in higher education, specifically community college education, is the power of education to change lives. And, a favorite aspect of all of my different roles over the years has been the opportunity to meet and connect with students and hear their stories.
