Waubonsee Community College has partnered with The Hartford to create an apprenticeship program that is a remarkable opportunity for Waubonsee students.

Students selected for The Hartford Apprenticeship Program will be eligible for tuition benefits from The Hartford. The students will also participate in a 5-week, full-time on-the-job training session with full benefits and $15 per hour wage. This apprenticeship begins in July. Also, students who have completed the apprenticeship and degree requirements will have employment opportunities with The Hartford.

People interested in this opportunity must attend one of two information sessions in order to apply. One session is on Wednesday, April 10 at 9:30 a.m. and the other session is on Tuesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. Both sessions are on the Sugar Grove Campus in the Academic and Professional Center, Room 194.

The Hartford is a leader in property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds.
