“Neil with PC,” a photo by artist Evan Baden, is one of 18 works included in “Zoom Out: Reflecting on the Digital Environment,” a group show currently running at Waubonsee Community College.

The Waubonsee Community College Art Department is currently hosting a group show titled “Zoom Out: Reflecting on the Digital Environment,” now through July 26.

Displayed in the Arrowhead Room gallery in Dickson Center on Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive, the exhibit is free and open to the public Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m, and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The show features 18 prints and drawings from artists Evan Baden, Eric Fleischauer, Allison Grant, Emily Hermant and Christopher Meerdo.

As Waubonsee Art Coordinator and show curator Cecilia Vargas explains, “These works allow us to contemplate technology’s influence and our relationship to a computerized world outside the parameters of the screen.”
