This course introduces students to basic statistical principles and calculations as applied in the healthcare environment. Topics include the maintenance, compilation, analysis and presentation of healthcare statistics. In addition, students learn the fundamentals of displaying statistical information using a variety of graphs and charts. Prereq, HIT101 with a C or better; MTH107 with a C or better

Sync Online courses are a combination of course instruction and student participation occurring synchronously online through a video conferencing platform (such as Zoom) on the scheduled days and times for the course.
