C-201 Electrical Systems I

This hands-on, noncredit course builds on concepts from C-101 and prepares students to connect, adjust, operate, troubleshoot, and analyze electrical circuits using basic electrical components: resistors, capacitors, inductors, DC motors, solenoids, manual switches, relays, fuses, circuit breakers, transformers, and indicators. Other key skills include: adhering to electrical safety rules, reading electrical circuit diagrams, applying Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law, using digital multimeters, interpreting series/parallel circuits, and assessing power/circuit protection. Aligns with Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) credentials. Designed for individuals preparing to enter or advance in the manufacturing workforce. This training provides foundational knowledge and practical skills needed in today’s technology-driven production environments. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to sit for the SACA C-201 Electrical Systems I certification exam(s) and take the next step toward a career in advanced manufacturing. Please

note: If you are new to the manufacturing industry and have no previous experience, starting with C-101 Basic Operations is strongly suggested.
