Inspiring you outside the classroom
College is about more than classes—it gives you opportunities to explore your personal interests, develop your leadership skills, and even have some fun! At Waubonsee, you can have a student experience that is as well-rounded as you are, one that inspires more than your mind.
You’ve got goals, and we’ve got the support to help you achieve them. Count on our dedicated faculty to do more than teach: they enlighten, they encourage, and they engage with each individual student. You’ll also have access to free walk-in and online tutoring; transfer school planning; and academic, career and personal counseling—all designed so you can make the most of your time in the classroom.
You take care of your class assignments, and we’ll take care of you. All the resources you need for daily college life are right here—from library and bookstore services to class registration and tech support... even paying your bill. We also proud to offer additional services for veterans and students with special needs. Our friendly staff is here for you, ready to make your life a little easier.
College life happens outside the classroom too! Enrich your time on campus by participating in one of our many student organizations. You might be interested in academic societies, arts and culture clubs, civic engagement or student government -- but no matter which you choose, you can enjoy collaborating with your peers, developing leadership skills or giving back to your community from your first day on campus.
Catch the excitement of Waubonsee Chiefs athletics on campus! As part of the National Junior College Athletic Association, our 13 sports teams compete in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference. The Chiefs consistently contend for the conference’s annual All-Sports trophy. Play on a team or come out and cheer on your classmates!
