Waubonsee Community College, in partnership with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), invites current and prospective students, faculty, and military veterans to an information session on its Sugar Grove Campus on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. The session will also be available via Zoom for those who cannot attend in-person.
Attendees will gain direct insight from a representative from Fermilab into application processes, funding details, and career tracks available at Fermilab and 16 other National Laboratories nationwide. In addition to student internships, the session will showcase specialized fellowship and research opportunities for faculty members, as well as dedicated apprenticeship pathways designed for transitioning military service members and veterans.
Registration is not required for in-person attendance, but registration is required to attend via Zoom. Details are available at calendar.waubonsee.edu.
