This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts and practical skills of 3D parametric modeling and its application in 3D printing. Students will delve into the core principles of creating three-dimensional digital objects, progressing through various modeling techniques. Core modeling techniques include 3D wire-frame, mesh, surface, solid, and parametric. Beyond theoretical modeling, the course emphasizes the complete digital fabrication workflow: design intent, file preparation, slicing, and 3D printing technologies.
