This course provides an overview of the role of the paralegal in the litigation process. Students will learn to draft correspondence and pleadings for civil ligation cases utilizing both the federal and state rules of civil procedure. Recommended Coreq, PLG100

A blend of face-to-face class meetings in a traditional classroom and online. Required face-to-face class meetings are: Wednesday from 6:30 - 9:15 pm. Scheduled on campus days: 08/19, 09/02, 09/16, 09/30, 10/14, 10/28, 11/11, 12/02. This course uses Open Educational Resources (OER) instead of traditional textbooks, so there is no cost for course materials.
