Foundation Board
The Waubonsee Community College Foundation was chartered in 1978 as a 501(c)3 tax exempt, nonprofit organization to advance the educational and charitable purposes of Waubonsee Community College. The mission of the Waubonsee Community College Foundation is to cultivate philanthropic donors, to responsibly steward its assets and to equitably award scholarships to students to help them achieve their educational goals. The Waubonsee Community College Foundation raised $850,880 in FY2023, an astounding 202% increase from FY2022. This impressive leap was due in large part to receipt of the Foundation's largest single donation to date.
