Two Waubonsee Community College adjunct faculty members have been selected as Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Members for 2020.

Dr. Samantha Solecki is an instructor in the college’s Mathematics and Sciences Division and is recognized for her teaching excellence in the college’s credit programs. 

 Maria Fisher is an instructor in the college’s Adult Education Division and is recognized for her teaching excellence in the college’s noncredit programs.

Adjunct faculty members are nominated for this recognition by their division leadership for their demonstration of quality instruction, commitment to student success, and their contributions to the credit and noncredit divisions. Solecki and Fisher were announced as this years’ award recipients at the spring faculty orientation on January 16 and were recognized by the college’s board of trustees on February 19.
