Waubonsee President to Host Virtual Forum on the Future of Higher Education and Community Colleges

Waubonsee Community College President Dr. Brian Knetl is inviting students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to be part of an in-person conversation about the future of higher education.  The event titled “Understanding the Higher Education Landscape,” will be held on Friday, Oct. 10 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Sugar Grove Campus, Rt. 47 at Waubonsee Drive, in the Academic and Professional Center. This free, public forum offers a unique opportunity to connect face-to-face with Dr. Knetl and fellow attendees over light refreshments and meaningful dialogue.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of national educational trends, public perceptions and expectations, shifting student needs, and the vital role of community colleges. A hybrid option is available for those who cannot attend in-person. For more details, visit calendar.waubonsee.edu.
