Waubonsee Community College has announced the 2026 Staff Awards for Excellence. Awards were presented in each of three categories: Service and Quality, Innovation and Creativity, and Diversity and Inclusion.

The award recipients are:

  • Dr. Robert Galuski, Learning Resource Center Manager, of Buffalo Grove, received the award of Excellence in Service and Quality.
  • Meghan Edmonson, Graphic Design Coordinator, of Geneva, received the award of Excellence in Innovation and Creativity.
  • Emily Rollins, Community Engagement Manager, of Yorkville, received the award of Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion.

Waubonsee’s Staff Awards for Excellence are presented each year. Nominations are submitted from across the college, and the recipients are determined by the college’s Staff Advisory Committee. Awardees received a framed certificate presented by Waubonsee President Dr. Brian Knetl, at the college’s Annual Staff Meeting and will be recognized by the Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees at the board meeting in August.
