Waubonsee Community College's Aurora Fox Valley Campus, also known as the “Health Care Campus,” is hosting an open house on Saturday, March 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This free event is open to the public.

Attendees will meet faculty, tour our state-of-the-art labs and learn about our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, Nursing and Phlebotomy programs. The Open House will feature a series of optional information sessions:

  • 10:45 a.m. - Nursing Info Session
  • 11:00 a.m. - Nursing Assistant
  • 11:15 a.m. - Nursing
  • 11:15 a.m. - Health Information Technology
  • 11:30 a.m. - EMT / Fire Science
  • 11:45 a.m. - Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy

The excellence of Waubonsee’s health care programs and its faculty is reflected in the success of its graduates. The college celebrated a monumental achievement as 100% of Waubonsee students registered for the Health Information Technician certification examination received a passing score. In addition, the Nursing programs continue to set a gold standard for the region, maintaining a 100% National NCLEX pass rate. Every graduate from Waubonsee’s December 2024 and May 2025 cohort successfully passed their licensure exam on the first attempt.
