Waubonsee Community College invites prospective students, families, and community members to explore its Aurora Downtown Campus, 18 S. River St. on Tuesday, March 31.
This event is designed to showcase our space located in the heart of downtown Aurora with guided campus tours for the community in English and Spanish at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Between these sessions, at 4:30 p.m., the Resource Fair creates a space for families to connect with bilingual staff and support services to learn about admissions, financial aid, Waubonsee’s Latinx Resource Center, Adult Education Program, and more.
At Waubonsee’s Aurora Downtown Campus, students can earn full college credit for general education courses, associate degree and certificate programs while paying approximately one-third of the cost of a public university. Waubonsee is committed to removing barriers for students with children. The college has launched a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois, which provides free, on-campus after-school care program for elementary-aged children, kindergarten through fifth grade of enrolled Waubonsee students. All community members are encouraged to visit the Aurora Downtown Campus. Visit waubonsee.edu/visit to RSVP.
