Waubonsee Community College announced the names of the student government for the current academic year. The members of Waubonsee’s 2026-2027 student government are:
Daniela Alfano, of North Aurora, Student Trustee; Bianka Valdez, of Oswego, Student Senate President; and Student Senators:

- Daniel Cadena, Vice President, of Plano
- Diana Garcia-Padilla, of Aurora
- Evelia Gil, of Aurora
- Roa'a Harb, of Oswego
- Aaron Klemm, of Yorkville
- Trish Lewis, of Big Rock
- Tristan Oakstone, of Aurora
- Kaiden Schimandle, of Plano
- Juan Sosa, of Aurora
- Lauren Larsen, Secretary, of Plano
The student government provides leadership opportunities for students, as well as a channel of communication between college administrators and the student body. The student government leaders will be introduced to the college’s October board of trustees meeting.
