Waubonsee Community College will host its annual Spring Career Fair on Thursday, April 5 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Academic and Professional Center on the Sugar Grove Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

More than 75 employers, all with jobs or internships available, will be on hand to meet with people and discuss employment opportunities. Attendees will also be able to have professional photos taken for their LinkedIn profile.

Because interviews will be conducted at the fair, attendees are encouraged to dress in professional attire and to bring several copies of their résumé.

Last year, the Waubonsee Spring Career Fair was viewed as valuable by both job seekers and employers. At the 2017 spring career fair, 45 percent of employers intended to interview one to three candidates and 20 percent intended to interview four to six candidates. Job-seeking attendees of the 2017 fair rated the overall experience of this fair at 3.6 of a possible 4.

The career fair is held in coordination with the Illinois Department of Employment Security. Visit www.waubonsee.edu/careerdevelopment for more information, including a list participating employers.
