Anderson Lee, Waubonsee Community College Career Services Advisor, was recently recognized by the Cooperative Education and Internship Association for his efforts to support the CEIA’s mission and projects.

Lee is in the midst of a two-year term on the association’s board, and also serves as Regional Vice President for the Midwest Region.

In his role as Midwest Regional Vice President, Lee facilitates gatherings, maintains communications and gathers ideas from among the region’s 150 members across eight states.

Lee was recognized along with the other members of the board by CEIA President Patricia Bazrod, of the Georgia Institute of Technology, at the CEIA annual conference in April in Seattle, Wash.

“Anytime you can be recognized by your peers, it’s quite an accomplishment,” Lee said.

The CEIA, the leader in work-integrated learning, is a professional and productive organization serving students, educational institutions, employing organizations and governmental agencies.
