The Waubonsee Community College Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to keep the college’s tuition rate steady for the 2022–2023 academic year. The current in-district tuition rate of $132 per credit hour will remain in effect through next year, as will the current student fee of $8 per credit hour.

The college continues to do what it can to provide some measure of relief to students during the pandemic. Waubonsee’s combined tuition and fees rate remains below the state average for Illinois community colleges, reflecting the board’s ongoing commitment to affordability. Additionally, students can take advantage of both long-standing efforts like the annual Waubonsee Foundation Scholarships and limited-time federally funded Reach Higher Scholarship.
