The Waubonsee Community College Foundation Board of Directors announces a new board president and board vice president.

 Edward Keating is the board’s new president. He is a Vice President and Senior Wealth Advisor at Calamos Wealth Management and has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, focused on investment and trust management. He has been a member of the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council for more than 20 years. He has also served on the board and finance committee of Geneva Community Chest. Keating has served on the Waubonsee Foundation Board’s Finance & Audit Committee and the Investment Committee. He and his wife, Doreen, have also established the Doreen and Ed Keating Scholarship at Waubonsee. Keating earned a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with concentrations in economics and finance from the University of Illinois and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst. 

Bonnie Proctor is the board’s new vice president. She has held various positions in financial management for thirty years. In 2000 she became owner of Challenger Lighting Company. She and the company hold a patent for a light designed for the hotel industry. Proctor was a member of the Valley Industrial Association for fifteen years and became the organization’s first female president in 2008. She served on the Kaneland School District Board for 8 years and was one of the founding members of the Kaneland Foundation and served as the president for several years. Proctor earned a certificate in accounting from Waubonsee and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Aurora University and a master's in business administration from Benedictine University.
