Waubonsee Community College announced the names of the student government for the current academic year.
The members of Waubonsee’s 2020-2021 student government are:
- Armando Ferrer, of Aurora; Student Trustee
- Rachel Diaz, of Waterman; Student Senate President
- Dylan Becker, of Yorkville; Student Senator
- Jonas Cebulski, of Aurora; Student Senator
- Ian Curtis, of North Aurora; Student Senator
- Paloma Del Toro, of Aurora; Student Senator
- Evelyn Foster, of North Aurora; Student Senator
- Marcos Garcia, of Aurora; Student Senator
- Yulissa Hernandez, of Montgomery; Student Senator
- Kenneth Hiltenbrand, of Montgomery; Student Senator
- Clever Kabene, of Aurora; Student Senator
- Kyle Licar, of North Aurora; Student Senator
- Kobe Nguyen, of North Aurora; Student Senator
The student government provides leadership opportunities for students, as well as a channel of communication between college administrators and the student body. The student government leaders sit on many college committees and provide student perspective and feedback to the college leadership. The student government leaders were introduced to the college’s board of trustees at its October meeting.
