ComedySportz features teams. And they compete.

But the Chicago area’s longest running short-form improv comedy show has nothing to do with actual sports – unless sports happens to be a topic on which the competing comedians are riffing to earn laughs, that is.

Saturday, March 7, at 7 p.m., the improv comedians of ComedySportz are bringing their never-ending stream of hilarity to the Waubonsee Community College Sugar Grove Campus Auditorium, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive, for a special 90-minute show.

Tickets for the evening of laughter are $19 for adults and $12 for children ages 12 and under, and are available at www.waubonseetickets.com. The interactive ComedySportz show features two teams of comedians.

Each team competes in improv comedy events based on audience suggestions throughout the evening, and the audience selects the winner with laughter, tracked by a referee operating ComedySportz’ Applause-o-Meter.

With more than 100 games in the ComedySportz book, the show is never the same twice, and is always kept clean. The show is recommended for ages 7 and older, but it is suitable for all guests on either side of 21.
