Waubonsee Community College invites prospective students, families, and community members to explore its Plano Campus Innovation and Design Center Open House from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15.
Attendees will learn about in-demand and high-wage career pathways in Engineering, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, Industrial Maintenance, Welding, and the college’s ten certificate and degree options in Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity. During this event, participants will experience state-of-the-art equipment in action and engage with faculty who bring industry experience into the classroom. Attendees can also get information on financial aid, scholarships and getting started.
At Waubonsee, students can earn a degree or certificate for approximately one-third the cost of a public university. All community members are welcome to experience the Plano Campus, where innovation, creativity, and partnerships lead to industry certifications, a skilled workforce, and community collaboration.
