Arrowhead Room

The Arrowhead Room gallery, located at the Sugar Grove Campus on the first floor of Dickson Center, houses art exhibits of student, faculty and visiting artists. The Exhibition Committee, composed of Art Department faculty and staff, selects the shows for the Arrowhead Room.

Dickson Window Art Project Space

The Dickson Window Art Project Space, located at the Sugar Grove Campus on the first floor of Dickson Center, is a new exhibition space dedicated to Chicago area artists working in the medium of installation art. The Exhibition Committee selects the artists on an annual basis.

Aurora Downtown Campus Café

In the fall of 2011, we teamed up with the Aurora Downtown Campus Café to provide our talented students with a new exhibition space. The Café is located on the first floor of the Aurora Downtown Campus. The exhibitions rotate approximately every four months and are selected by the Art Coordinator.

The exhibition Delineation is a group-show featuring drawings created by Joseph Turner’s Drawing I students and Greg Binder’s Drawing II students. All of the pieces were created in Drawing classes at Waubonsee Community College. 
Featured Artists: Melyssa Cordero, Alberto Garcia, Dina Hernandez, Jordan Lawrence, Genevieve Scott, and Mon Rai.

Todd Library

Our second Sugar Grove campus exhibit outlet is the Todd Library located on the second floor of Collins Hall, which has been dominantly dedicated to student shows since the spring of 2010.

The next Student Exhibition will be in the Fall of 2017.

Von Ohlen Hall

At the end of each fall and spring semester the Art Department hosts the biannual Student Showcase on the second floor in Von Ohlen Hall. Faculty select the best work from their respective classes and install it throughout the hall. During each term faculty display class work on both the first and second floors.

The next Student Showcase will be in the Fall of 2017.
