Waubonsee Adds to Its Student Art Collection

During the fall 2012 semester, Waubonsee Community College purchased 14 pieces of student-created artwork to display around its campuses. Through its Student Art Purchase Program, which started in fall 2006, the college has acquired a total of 152 pieces of original artwork.  

This semester’s works came from Brandy Fik, of Waterman; Patrizio Fortuna, Angela M. Juneau, Timothy McCann and Cynthia Perez, of Aurora; Amanda Hampe, of Batavia; Mia Ishiguro, of Schaumburg; Mandi Linder, of Sheridan; Lauren Loisi and Karen Maret, of Geneva; Casey Rose, of Maple Park; John Roth, of Somonauk; Rose Tichava, of Sandwich; and Tony Zanker, of DeKalb.
