Waubonsee Theatre Department to Present “Rehearsal for Murder”

Waubonsee Community College’s Theatre Department will present “Rehearsal for Murder” at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1; Friday, Nov. 2; and Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Auditorium of the college’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.

Originally written as a made-for-TV movie in 1982, the show centers on a playwright whose fiancée/leading lady was murdered on opening night exactly one year ago. As the cast and crew of a new production gather, connections to that fateful show and night begin to unfold, leaving the audience to guess whodunit.

Professor of Communications/Theatre Dr. Maria Bakalis is directing the show.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5.
